I've always believed that a man's shoes tell the story of where he’s been and where he’s going. When I first sat down at the workbench to design this pair, I wanted to create something that defied the "standard" brown or black loafer. I really wanted to capture the essence of the outdoors—the deep greens of the moss and forest—and bring that into a sophisticated, city-ready silhouette.

Every pair starts with a single hide of the finest full-grain calfskin. We hand-apply the olive patina in layers, which gives the leather that beautiful, dimensional depth you see in the photos. It’s a slow process, but anyway that's how you get a colour that changes slightly depending on the light. It's kinda unique because no two pairs take the dye exactly the same way. We then hand-stitch the moc-toe, ensuring the tension is perfect for a shoe that holds its shape for years, not just months.
