An ICONIC Mid-Century statement piece from the 60s and 70s! Originally for Men Only, the Leisure Suit was more comfortable and "Hip" than traditional suits of the past but still meant "business" for women of the day, making it their own with fun colors like this Caramel & Cream and details to accentuate or enhance their shape (the side darts in the bust area, big detailed pockets, ribbed fabrics, and in this case the flirty gored skirt)!

These fabrics were history in the making- Rib Knitting (as in the top) and Double Knit or Interlock weave of new Dacron Polyester materials ( as used in the Skirt, collar, button front, waistbands and cuffs) for a combination of durability and stretch, providing both comfort and a structured yet casual look.

A Trending look for today's Fashionistas too! Let the collar bend in the classic way or lay flat like a wide pointed lapel. Shoes could be anything from a wedge, pumps, or boots. So detailed, no need for much jewelry- just throw on the sunglasses and go!

Size: Original tag is a Vintage 8, however Vintage styles/ sizes before the 80s can run small. From research and comparison, I estimate this set to fit best for someone wearing a Small for today (if you want it to cling) or someone who usually wears XS if you prefer it to fit looser. Refer to flat measurements of the garments in photos provided. Do allow some extra room in the hips for the skirt to flare.
