This cozy Grey colored super soft jersey knit pouch pocket sweatshirt is fun and will bring cheer to any fall day.
In soft fluffy Knit this comfy short sleeve sweatshirt (new from popular retail) has been revitalized with the addition of a kangaroo pouch pocket repurposed from a vintage (1930-1959) scrappy Double Wedding Ring quilt in White with feedsack calicos and green and yellow accents.
The quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted. The original quilt front was in loved condition with a bits of overall wear visible which has been stabilized with machine mending. I would consider this quilt piece slightly shabby chic.
This piece is heavy weight and would be perfect for chilly outings with tights and a comfy T or as a stand-alone with your favorite jeans and sneakers.
It is Unisex one size fits many (maximum Size women’s M- Aerie)
Please note, this item is made from an antique quilt and the fabric reflects this in both its beauty and its imperfections. Some quilts are more loved than others and need repairs and mending before they can find new purpose. I attempt to provide mending solutions in areas were the structural integrity of the garment is at stake. In other areas I prefer to allow the original condition if the quilt to shine through.
This jacket has been carefully pre-washed but I recommend spot cleaning in the future, if necessary.
