Do you ship worldwide, and how are orders sent and delivered?

Yes, I ship to almost every country worldwide. Orders are dispatched within 1–4 days and sent via La Poste, Swiss Post, or UPS. Estimated delivery times: Europe 5–7 days; USA & Canada 8–10 days; other destinations 8–14 days. Most parcels include tracking and insurance, while low-value items may be sent without tracking unless requested. If your country is not shown at checkout, contact me — I will confirm delivery availability and exact options. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery speed is no longer under my control. All claims for non-receipt must be submitted within 60 days from the shipping date; later claims are not accepted. Express shipping is available upon request after agreeing on method and cost.

Do I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

Most international orders are shipped with Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning that for the USA, Canada, Australia, and most European countries all customs duties are already covered. In countries where DDP does not apply, possible import taxes are paid by the buyer. All artworks in my shop — antique, vintage, and contemporary — enter the USA duty-free. Hand-painted artworks and printed books are exempt from U.S. import duties, so no additional customs fees or hidden charges will appear upon delivery. For the UK, Etsy collects VAT on low-value items, while higher-value artworks may be taxed at approximately 5%. If the buyer refuses to pay applicable import taxes or duties, the payment is non-refundable regardless of the shipment outcome.

Is the frame included in the price of the painting?

The price shown in the listing refers exclusively to the artwork itself. If the painting is shown in a frame in the photos, the frame is not part of the sale and is provided to the buyer free of charge as a decorative addition. Since the frame is provided free of charge, it is not covered by any warranty, and its condition upon arrival cannot be a reason for a return, refund, or compensation. • If no frame is shown in the photos, it is not included. If you prefer to receive the painting without the frame, please let me know after purchase — no discounts or price adjustments apply.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

If your parcel arrives damaged, please follow these steps so a postal claim can be processed properly: • take several clear photos of the outer box, the shipping label, the protective packaging inside, and the damaged item • report the damage to your local post office or carrier point within 48 hours of delivery and request the official damage report • have the form completed and signed by the postal employee and send me a copy within 4 days Please keep all original packaging until the claim is fully resolved, as carriers may require additional inspection. Failure to follow these instructions or deadlines may void the claim and compensation I will file a formal claim with the carrier to ensure the issue is resolved as quickly as possible.

What happens if the parcel cannot be delivered and is returned to the sender?

If the parcel is returned due to the recipient being unavailable, providing incorrect contact details and/or address, or the item being unclaimed or abandoned, the original payment is not reimbursed. The parcel can be shipped again upon request once the buyer covers all costs related to the return shipping and the new delivery. If the returned item remains unclaimed for 15 days, it will be resold to cover the expenses of return postage, storage, and handling.

Are returns, exchanges, or cancellations accepted, and in what condition are items sold

All sales are final. I do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations, as most items in shop are unique antique pieces, and repeated packing and shipping may be harmful to them. Once preparation begins, cancellation is no longer possible due to the technical and material costs involved. All items are sold “as is”, in the condition in which they were found. Descriptions of age, origin, and condition are provided in good faith and reflect our best professional opinion based on many years of experience with antiques objects. These descriptions are informative and do not constitute any additional warranty. By purchasing, the customer confirms that they have reviewed the photos and description and accepts the item in its current condition.

How do you verify originality, authenticity, provenance, and condition of artworks?

All paintings in my shop are original, hand-painted artworks. Each piece is examined using professional knowledge of materials, techniques, age characteristics, and historical context. When available, information about the period, school, provenance, or previous ownership is included in the listing and reported accurately. Antique and vintage items may show natural signs of age such as craquelure, patina, minor imperfections, or older restorations, which are always photographed and described. Items are not restored or altered before sale; only gentle surface cleaning may be performed when necessary.

How do you package antique paintings and other fragile items for safe delivery?

All artworks and fragile vintage items are packed with great care to ensure safe delivery. Each piece is wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and protective foam and placed inside a sturdy cardboard box. When possible, I reuse high-quality packaging materials to reduce waste while maintaining the highest level of protection. Every parcel is packed to withstand long-distance international transport.

Can I request additional photos, reserve an item, receive a multi-item discount, or buy as a designer or collector?

Yes. Additional photos are available upon request so you can examine any item closely before purchasing. Reservations are possible by agreement — for a short period for new buyers and longer for returning customers. Discounts for purchasing several items at once can be discussed within reasonable limits. I also work with interior designers, decorators, and collectors on mutually beneficial terms.

Do you combine shipping for multiple items?

Yes. When possible, shipping for multiple items is combined to reduce costs. If Etsy overcalculates the postage, I refund any excess after the parcel is packed and dispatched. You can always contact me beforehand for an exact combined-shipping estimate based on the items you plan to purchase.
