Where are your products from?

Village Batch products are sourced from Greece and selected for quality, flavor, and connection to the producers behind them. Our collection includes authentic Greek pantry staples such as olive oil, olives, honey, vinegar, sea salt, spices, teas, pasta, and other Mediterranean foods. Many of our products come from small Greek farms, families, and artisans who carry on traditional methods and regional food culture. We focus on items that bring the taste of Greece into everyday cooking, gifting, and entertaining. Whether you are shopping for your own kitchen or looking for a gourmet food gift, Village Batch offers Greek foods made to celebrate simple ingredients, bold flavor, and Mediterranean tradition.

Are your olive oils imported from Greece?

Yes, Village Batch olive oils are made in Greece and imported to the United States. We focus on authentic Greek olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, and infused olive oil that celebrates the flavor, quality, and tradition of Mediterranean cooking. Our olive oils are selected to bring the taste of Greece into everyday meals, from bread dipping and salad dressings to roasted vegetables, marinades, pasta, grilled meats, soups, potatoes, and finishing dishes. Whether you are shopping for your own kitchen or looking for a gourmet food gift, hostess gift, housewarming gift, or cooking gift for a food lover, Greek olive oil makes a flavorful and thoughtful pantry staple.

How should I store olive oil?

Store olive oil in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. A pantry, cabinet, or cupboard is best for keeping Greek olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, and infused olive oil fresh, smooth, and flavorful. Keep the bottle tightly sealed when not in use and avoid storing it next to the stove, oven, dishwasher, or sunny window. Heat, light, and air can affect the flavor, aroma, and quality over time. Use Village Batch olive oil for bread dipping, salad dressings, roasted vegetables, marinades, pasta, grilled meats, soups, potatoes, and Mediterranean-inspired recipes. Proper storage helps every drizzle taste fresh and delicious from the first pour to the last.

How should I store honey?

Store honey at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. A pantry or kitchen cabinet is usually the best place to keep pure honey, raw honey, wildflower honey, and Greek honey fresh and flavorful. Honey does not need to be refrigerated. Refrigeration can actually make honey crystallize faster and become thicker or grainy in texture. To help preserve the natural flavor, aroma, and quality of your honey, keep the lid tightly sealed when not in use. Village Batch honey is perfect for tea, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, cheese boards, desserts, marinades, and Mediterranean-inspired recipes. Stored properly, honey is a beautiful pantry staple and a thoughtful gourmet food gift for honey lovers.

What if my honey crystallizes?

Crystallization is a natural process that can happen with real honey, especially raw honey and pure wildflower honey. It does not mean the honey has gone bad or is unsafe to eat. In fact, crystallization is often a sign that the honey is minimally processed and still has its natural character. To soften crystallized honey, place the closed jar in a bowl of warm water and let it slowly loosen back into a smoother texture. Avoid boiling or microwaving the honey, since high heat can affect the flavor, aroma, and natural quality of the honey. Village Batch honey can still be enjoyed even if it crystallizes. Use it in tea, drizzle it over yogurt, toast, oatmeal, fruit, cheese boards, desserts, or Mediterranean-inspired recipes. Whether smooth
