A sublime Art Deco crucifix (1930s), a piece of rare elegance combining the warmth of wood with the preciousness of mother-of-pearl. This crucifix is distinguished by its geometric aesthetic, typical of the period, with corner fittings in worked metal featuring a stepped pattern.
The body of Christ (the corpus) is finely sculpted in patinated metal (bronze or spelter), resting on a veneer of genuine mother-of-pearl with magnificent iridescent reflections.
On the back, the object bears the "ALREN DÉPOSÉ" authenticity stamp, guaranteeing quality French manufacturing from the first half of the 20th century.
