THE CHUNKY BOY TOTE BAG!
This is the chunkiest tote bag I have ever crocheted and I am in love with the texture created by using the waistcoat stitch! Despite looking complicated, this is actually a super simple bag to crochet, using a version of single crochet for the entire bag! I hope you enjoy making this bag as much as I did!

This pattern includes plenty of photos to guide you through the process of making this bag as as well as a few helpful video tutorials along the way!

Materials Needed:

Yarn: Super Bulky (6) weight - I used a jumbo cord yarn for one of my bags and Hoooked Zpagetti T-shirt yarn for the other, both worked great! You can also hold 2-3 strands of super bulky yarn (look for yarn that recommends an 8-9mm hook on the label) together for this pattern–just double or triple the needed yardage listed above. You could even hold 5-6 strands of worsted weight yarn together for a super scrappy tote bag!

Yardage: 125 yards

Crochet Hooks: 25mm Hook to make the jumbo size OR a 20mm hook for a "mini" version
