While we do not accept mail returns (mainly due to the perishable nature of our product) or replacements, we will gladly try to offer advice to achieve gardening success with your order or provide a refund, either partial or in full, depending on the circumstances. If there is an error or concern with your order, please take a picture and send it to us right away! Shipping perishable product and gardening is a shared responsibility between you and us; we strive to provide appropriate growing/climate zone information so please do not order an item that grows in zone 9 when you live in zone 6.

Please mind your climate/growing zone before making a purchase. Climate zone information that we provide on product descriptions are a guideline to help you make purchases that are appropriate for your climate. If you purchase bulbs or plants that are not included in your or your gift recipient's climate zone, we do not offer refunds. Exceptions apply, such as Amaryllis for indoors. If you do not know your climate zone, just do a simple web search with your "zip code" and "climate zone", i.e. "98101 Climate Zone." The result should generally be between 2 and 11, based on a scale of overnight average low temperatures. You want to make sure that the climate zone range for your purchases includes your climate zone.

Remember, this is the weather that we are talking about here! Climate zone information isn't an exact science but more of an art, which is the fun of gardening! Unforeseen prolonged snowstorms will damage or potentially kill any frost tender bulbs and plants that aren't protected. Early Spring heat will induce dormancy (and therefore will not bloom) with delicate Spring bloomers, such as Ranunculus. Experienced gardeners in colder climates will "force" bulbs by growing them indoors first and then transplant them outside. Or they will store the bulbs until the weather warms. We do not recommend this for beginners. Certain exceptions apply, such as growing Amaryllis or Paperwhites indoors during the holiday season. Anyone can do Amaryllis!

Gift wrapping and packaging

Due to limited functionality, we may not be able to process your order notes as gift messages. If you want to leave a gift message, please contact us directly after placing your order! If you leave a note on the order, we may not see it and catch it in time before fulfillment from our warehouse.

Shipping to Hawaii & Puerto Rico

Unfortunately we are no longer able to ship to Puerto Rico and Hawaii in some cases. If we cannot process and ship your order to these areas, we will have to cancel your order. We apologize in advance!

All potted plants are processed with express shipping in mind, 2-3 business days depending on the destination. Most items will ship via FedEx with 2 plants per box, so if you ordered multiple potted plant packs, you most likely will receive multiple shipments. Local deliveries near our California nursery for potted plants will most likely receive one large shipment. Any orders that contain other items besides potted plants will still ship separately. Unfortunately, Etsy only allows us to publish one tracking number per order, so please reach out if you need to inquire about additional tracking or order status.
