My Item hasn't arrived yet, where is it?

Check the tracking number. If it hasn't been marked as delivered then it should arrive eventually, there is very little I can do about shipping delays. If it has been marked as delivered, please check with your local post offices, neighbors, etc before contacting me. Once a package is marked as delivered it is out of my control. If you think it was stolen, contact the USPS and your local police department.

Did you re-list the item I ordered?

Sometimes I will receive orders that have been returned by the post office. If an item is returned to me due to an incorrect address, unpaid customs fees, or sitting unclaimed at the post office for too long I will issue you a refund, shipping cost not included, and re-list the item. You are welcome to buy it again but please make sure your address is correct and you are aware of your country's customs policies. Also, sometimes I have more than one of a specific item. Don't worry, you'll get the one that you ordered!

Can I return the item I bought?

Yes, except for the following: -Cheap Cheap: All items are final sale, no returns, no exceptions. This includes lots. -Items On Sale: If it is on sale, it is Final Sale -Discounted Items: Items purchased for less than full price are Final Sale -Distressed items: Items with "Distressed" in the description or title are heavily used, which can be desirable to some people, but please be sure that you want a distressed item before you buy. -If there is a flaw shown in the listing, you may not return the item because you don't like the flaw. -If the item has measurements, you may not return the item because it is the wrong size/doesn't fit. The original shipping & return shipping costs are not included in any return's refund.

Has my hat been washed?

In most cases, no. In some cases if a hat is really bad I will wash it, but that will probably be mentioned in the listing. With the volume of hats that I sell it would not make sense to wash them individually, so I leave any cleaning up to you, the buyer. Most of these hats have not been worn in a long time and are quite clean, dusty at most. Some hats have discoloration on the inner band from use. Some hats will have a lingering scent of a previous home or owner, that is part of buying used headwear. If that makes you uncomfortable, I would not recommend buying used items. Do not put hats in the washing machine, especially trucker hats. Warm water, laundry detergent, and stain remover with an old toothbrush in the sink works great!

Do you have a (specific brand/place/etc) hat?

Maybe, feel free to ask. I have hundreds of hats that aren't listed. However, my storage system is not ideal for finding individual hats, so no promises.

Lost (by me) Item Policy

On very rare occasions an item that is ordered will be misplaced by me, or an item will accidentally be marked as having 2 in stock when there is only one, which can lead to someone buying something that I don't actually have. If this happens (which it most likely will not), I will contact you and you can decide either to receive any other item in my store of a similar value, or receive a full refund.

I ordered from outside of the USA and my order has not arrived, where is it?

In most cases, the item will arrive eventually. Most of the time a package will take 7-10 business days, but I have had packages arrive after a few months. Your package is insured, we have to wait 40 days from the shipment date for the item to arrive. If it doesn't arrive within 40 days, I can open an insurance claim and get you the money for a refund. Before 40 days, all we can do is wait and be patient.

With hats especially, there may be small flaws from light use that are not mentioned in the listing. If you want a more thorough inspection report, please ask!

Most hats have not been washed by me, machine washing hats can severely damage them and hand washing is too time consuming for the volume of hats that I sell. I do not clean hats because you may have a specific way of washing you prefer, you're allergic to conventional soap, etc. 99% of the time the hats have been sitting in a closet or garage for years and are perfectly clean. If you would like your hat to be cleaned it is up to you.

I apologize in advance if your item is dusty, I share space with a wood shop so occasionally items will arrive with a little stray sawdust. It'll brush right off!

If you have larger than usual head, please check in with me to make sure your hat will fit. Most of these hats say “one size fits all”, but frequently the sizes max out at around a 7 ¾ – 8 hat size.

If this item is clothing, please refer to the provided measurements when deciding whether to purchase it. Vintage sizes vary widely, so the tagged size is often inaccurate compared to modern sizing. I recommend measuring a garment that you like the fit of, and comparing those numbers to the ones listed above.

I do not dry clean wool or vintage items before shipping. If your item is wool, I would always recommend dry cleaning for proper upkeep of your wool garments, especially when vintage.

Vintage items are old, which means that they will have more signs of age such as yellowing, fading, ink cracking, loose buttons, etc. This is part of buying old clothes. If you do not want this, do not buy vintage clothing.
