Perfect for Mahjong beginners and learning the mahjong card or just playing a game - no partner needed. Practice Board is designed for independent play, learning the card combinations, strategy training, and easy at-home practice.
There are lots of videos on you tube but here’s the basics:
1- Set up your rack or space in front of you with 13 tiles
2- Decide on hand options and choose 3 tiles to discard
3- Start your Charleston. Discard 3 tiles and place them in the first row going across (First Right). RRR
4- Take 3 new Tiles from
5- Review your options and choose 3 more to discard and place in the next row going Across (Across) AAA
6- Choose 3 more to discard and place in the next row down (First Left) LLL
7- Review your hand, choose 3 more to discard (Second Left) LLL and place on top right side
8- Review your hand, choose 3 more to discard (Across) AAA and place in the AAA on the right side
9- Review your hand, choose 3 more tiles to discard (Last Right) and place on the RRR on the right side.
The Charleston is over.
10- choose 3 to discard (optional) and place them on the 123.
now the game begins.
Mix all the tiles from the practice board back in with the rest and play as normal drawing and discarding.
Draw a new tile and discard onto the board. when the board is full, the game is over.
