Microfiber neckties, bow ties and pocket squares [Easy care!]: Hand wash in cool water and take care not to rub the design too hard. You can also machine wash on delicate in a mesh bag or knotted pillow case. Creases and folds? Iron on medium heat; you can iron directly on the design. Silk neckties: Spot clean or dry clean only, never machine wash or immerse in water. Creases and folds? Iron on medium to high heat. Regular weight and linen-weave pashmina scarves: Hand wash or machine wash on delicate in a mesh bag or knotted pillow case so it doesn't stretch and tangle. Hang or preferably dry flat, do NOT machine/tumble dry! Creases and folds? Iron with high heat.

Standard Tie: ~3 1/8”-4" wide x 58” long. (aka “regular”/wide/traditional). This is the flagship “safe” bet, good for gifting, Dads, office dudes, & anyone but the smallest framed. Narrow Tie: ~2 3/8"-3" wide x 58” long. (aka modern cut/slim). This is the “Goldilocks” middle width that looks good on just about everyone, except the largest frames. Younger and more fashionable. What guys often buy for themselves! Skinny Tie: ~1.5” wide x 58” long. We don’t sell as many of these, but they're very young and the most fashion forward. For small frames and great for women too! Limited colors in microfiber only. Bow ties: One size, ~14"-20" neck size. Scarves (Linen-weave & Traditional Pashmina): One size, 28” wide x 80” long with fringe.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We treat every package like a gift - it comes wrapped all together with brown paper and string (because it is a wonderful thing!) and a care card. ⚒️ ABOUT THE SPECIMENS:
Northern Michigan Native Copper. We are so excited to source a handful of these raw nuggets from our home state of Michigan, all from one man and his metal detector and rock tumbler!

The history of northern Michigan copper is absolutely fascinating!
"The earliest known metalworking in North America begins 7000 years ago when Native people started mining copper on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Digging pits and using heavy stones to break waste rock away from copper masses, they fashion bracelets, beads, tools, fishhooks and other items for trade. Objects made of Keweenaw copper have been found in archeological sites across the continent."

► OTHER STONES?
Yes! Our shirt studs can be customized to nearly any stone we stock, as long as we have the stone or can cut the stone to the correct size to fit the stud hardware. Other that look great are freshwater pearls, ruby and sapphire hexagon slices, raw opals, raw emeralds, topaz, even tiny ammonites! Please just ask and we can make it happen! Some stones may be more costly depending on grade and amount of additional lapidary work required for sizing, and some a little less.

► QUANTITY?
Most tux shirts use 3 or 4 studs. Big and tall sizes usually use 5. Select whatever count you need.

Each set is one-of-a-kind — the exact stones in your studs will vary slightly in shape and shine. That’s the beauty of working with real nuggets: no three, four or five can ever be the same, so your set will always be unique. Each bolo, cufflink, lapel pin, tie bar, and tie tack is designed and made by hand by printmaker and metalworking artist Bethany Shorb, founder of Cyberoptix. I split my time between Detroit, MI and an RV studio and ranch in Arizona, where I personally hand-select every stone, crystal, shell, and fossil. From the Tucson and Quartzsite gem shows to the workbenches in Detroit, every piece is crafted with care, sourced only from trusted, ethical suppliers.
