We accept custom and personalized orders! Simply contact us and we will do our best to help accommodate you. We can modify existing designs, or help you bring to life brand new ones!

How are your pottery templates created?

I use a combination of hand drawn designs and/or softwares including Gimp, Inkscape, and Onshape.

What are your processing times?

Processing times may vary depending on order volume and are updated regularly to reflect this. For exceptionally large orders, processing times may occasionally exceed the stated estimates. If you are planning to place a time-sensitive order with 20 or more items, we recommend reaching out to us in advance to confirm current processing times.

Why have your prices increased recently?

We are currently in the process of redesigning our cutters to feature thicker handles, sturdier blades and support bars, and more durable filament. These improvements have increased both printing time and material usage. Additionally, we’ve experienced a rise in overall shipping and material costs. As a result, our prices have been adjusted.

What materials can your cutters be used for?

Our cutters are designed primarily with ceramic clays in mind. This means taller blades to accommodate thicker slabs, thinner tips for cleaner cuts, and rounded corners to reduce cracking. Our cutters also work wonderful with air dry and polymer clays! Salt dough clays, modeling clay, and modeling doughs can also be used with our cutters. Our customers have also reported success with concrete clay projects. Our cutters are not food safe.

Do you accept returns?

I do not accept returns. Please review all photos and descriptions carefully before purchasing. However, if your item arrives damaged, is missing, or does not match the description, please contact me right away. I want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you to resolve any issues. Please note that I am a private seller and, as such, I am not required to offer a 14-day return period to buyers in the EU. In circumstances where EU returns may be deemed necessary, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be reimbursed.

Cutter Tips and Ideas

- Use plastic wrap underneath the cutter, before pressing down, to achieve more rounded, pillowy edges. Experiment with plastic of varying thicknesses to alter the look further. This will also prevent clay build up on the cutters.

- To prevent sticking, use a make up brush to apply a thin layer of cornstarch to the surface of the clay. Alternatively, lightly dampen the edges of the cutter.

- Let the clay dry some before cutting for cleaner edges and and after cutting to reduce risk of stretching or warping when handled.

Care Instructions

PLA is sensitive to sunlight and high temperatures. These cutters are not dishwasher or oven safe. To clean, gently swish in your reclaim bucket or use your needle or trimming tool, toothpick, or a toothbrush.

About PLA

PLA is a bio-based plastic typically made from fermented plant starches. These means PLA is non petroleum based, renewable, and biodegradable. PLA degrades over time into smaller molecules that can be readily absorbed by the environment, unlike traditional plastics which leave behind microplastic fragments. This makes PLA a promising alternative for reducing plastic pollution and for replacing non renewable, petroleum based plastics.
