We’re grateful to keep sharing our creations with you here. Welcome! We started as a small artisan project in 2008 in Goa. And now Chintamani Alchemistry is a registered Trade Mark. We are wholesaling to the shops in more than 10 countries and have few showrooms. Chintamani Alchemistry is a pure raw wear and footwear, hand made from natural fabrics in family workshops, based in India and Indonesia. Created in limited editions, all our wearable artifacts are vegetarian, natural, high quality and original. Love, Light, Purity of creative flow!

Shipping & Customs fees Details

🇺🇸 U.S. orders: Import Duties & Fees are included in the price. No customs fees on delivery! ▸ Processing: 2-4 days. Delivery: 7-17 days by DHL/FedEx/other couriers. ▸ We are not responsible for customs, carrier or local delivery delays, but we will help investigate. ▸ For non-U.S. orders, VAT, import duties, customs or carrier fees may be charged on delivery and are the buyer’s responsibility unless collected by Etsy at checkout. Etsy collect VAT/GST for AU, NZ, UK, EU, Norway orders under €150. EU orders under €150 may still be charged €3 customs duty per item from July 1, 2026.

Returns and exchange details

⚠️ CLEARANCE SALE items will not be restocked. They are not eligible for return or exchange, unless damaged or defective. ▸ If you are not happy with the size of an eligible non-clearance item, you can return it for a refund or exchange during the period stated in our shop policy. Eligible items must be returned unused, unworn, unwashed and in original condition. Buyer pays return shipping and exchange shipping. ▸ Failed or refused delivery is not treated as a regular return. If a parcel is not delivered because of unpaid customs fees, incorrect address, buyer delay, missed pickup, refusal, or carrier/customs issues outside our control, we do not issue an automatic full refund.

Sizing details and custom orders

▸ We have our own sizing different from US sizing. Please check the last photo of the listing or description for correct sizing. You can always share your measurements while ordering so we can double check the sizing will work. ▸ In most cases we offer S to L sizes but also can make a plus size piece. If you are not sure about sizing you always welcome to contact us first. It would be pleasure to help you. ▸ We don’t accept custom orders, but in some cases we can add length or make a garment or sleeves shorter. Please contact us for details.

▸ Most items are in stock now, but sometimes it may take 2-10 days to complete and ship an order. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us in advance. ▸ Our production of some items is "on demand" – we make most items personally for the order. This is to avoid overproduction, wastage and unnecessary damage to environment. Please note, that on demand cycle takes more time, than delivering mass produced items from big warehouses. Good things are worth waiting for! If completing your order takes longer time we’ll let you know.

Each item is personally checked and packaged carefully so it will arrive in perfect condition. 🌿 We use eco-friendly recycled cloth bags that can be used as shoppers afterwards.

About Off-white color

Off white color is a complicated natural shade, slightly yellowish or greyish. This color is created by gently bleaching the natural fabric, without completely eradicating its natural tint. We believe off white shade gives a very organic, raw feel to our clothes. Mind, that this color may look very shiny white in bright sunlight, and then appear as almost yellow in warm electric light. It can be confusing, especially when you look at some of our artistic photoshoots. But that is also a part of its amazing alchemical transformation. Also mind, that if you wash our off-white garment, using regular washing powder (that usually contains certain amount of bleach), after a year or so it will become more clearly simple white.

▸ We are washing fabrics twice during the production process so that our customers will get pieces that will not change after home wash. ▸ Wash all-natural fabrics by hand or on a very gentle cold cycle, using environmentally friendly laundry products. ▸ Please keep in mind that heat makes natural fabrics shrink a bit and that all fabrics get much softer after washing.

Organic Cotton boho top is a very basic, but gorgeous creation from our new Organic Collection. We made the choice of using certified organic fabric as a conscious step towards a cleaner, more fair and beautiful world. The textile we use for this piece is strong and soft pure cotton, very pleasant to wear, breathable and durable. It is dyed in two basic colors, pure white and classic black. The silhouette of the top is very loose and airy, with little sleeves and wide open neckline, so it tends to slide from one shoulder, gently revealing the collar bone. As in many other models we leave a little side slit, so that you can tie up edges and transform the baggy long top into a cute tightly fitting crop top! It is perfect to pair up with all our low bohemian skirts and wide pants, so very simple, and so very comfortable!

Why did we start working with Organic Cotton? Generally, the Cotton industry is very harmful towards the environment and the people who are involved in it. Organic certification was created to improve this. Organic production systems reduce the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture. It is also very beneficial for the local communities working on the fields, as their labor conditions are improved and wages are raised up to certain standards. Hence, the price of the fabric is higher than the overall market price of cotton, but this money is invested into the future of our planet and into the happiness of the villagers, so that they can live their simple rural life in dignity.
