Over 1,360 years ago this wood sank to the bottom of the Sluch River in Western Ukraine. Today it is a handmade watch. The age has been confirmed by radiocarbon analysis and the laboratory certificate is included with every order. Swiss Ronda quartz movement, mineral glass, genuine Italian leather strap. Arrives gift-ready in a beech wood box.

ORIGIN
The case and dial are carved from a single piece of this ancient dark Bog Oak. The wood is finished with natural oils and wax only, no paint or chemicals. This makes every watch hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. I have been making watches from this material for several years and each one is assembled by hand in my workshop.

THIS MODEL
MW Black & Black. All-dark combination: black hands, dark Bog Oak dial, black leather strap. A quiet, understated look where the ancient wood texture does all the talking. Each watch is marked "MW" (Morta Wood) on the case.

Please note: black hands on a dark dial can be harder to read in low light. If readability is important to you, take a look at the MW Black & White model with white hands.
