Seven pieces of solid cherry. Sometimes the simplest designs are the most difficult.
What you see is the result. Simple. A little daring. And solid. I don't think you'll find this design anywhere else--it's all mine.
A triangle and a circle, connected by three upward staves. The shapes meant nothing except for a design challenge when I first put pen to paper to design this, but I came to find beauty in such a seemingly simple shape.
A circle, and some angles. Stability, without weight.
Finished in a hard-wearing satin polyurethane, for daily use.
(Camera angles are odd for this listing... The base is as wide as the top, and the vertical support pieces don't taper--they're one dimension, top to bottom. It's very stable, in spite of how the design makes it appear!)
17-3/4" tall, and 13-3/4" in circumference. Solid, simple, and a little daring!
