These beautiful real wood tabletops are ideal for dining tables, coffee tables, desks, side tables, and DIY furniture projects. Each top is made from genuine alder wood and showcases the natural knots, grain movement, swirls, and character marks that make every piece one of a kind.

Alder is loved for its smooth texture, subtle grain, and excellent stainability, making it a great choice for both rustic and modern spaces. Its consistent color and fine pore structure allow each finish to come through beautifully while still highlighting the natural warmth and character of the wood.

We begin by milling the lumber on site with a band-style sawmill, then carefully kiln drying it to reduce moisture and improve stability. After drying, the boards are glued together, planed, and sanded smooth. Each tabletop is then finished in your selected color and sealed with lacquer to protect the wood and create a durable, silky-smooth surface.

These 1-inch-thick wood tabletops are available in multiple sizes and three finish options. Since every top is made from solid wood, each one will vary naturally in grain and knot placement. If you are ordering more than one, we can match pieces as closely as possible for a coordinated set.

Buying just the tabletop gives you the flexibility to build a piece that fits your space and style. Pair it with metal legs, wood legs, trestle bases, or hairpin legs to create a custom look that is uniquely yours.
