My youth group loved this Escape Room! It's got a little bit of a Magic Treehouse feel to it. They solve a puzzle, and that gives them access to a "time machine" to travel to an Old Testament hero and learn from them. Each time they solved a puzzle, I would flicker the classroom lights to represent the time travel. This could be used for a mid-week activity or even Sunday School class or seminary (it's got a good amount of gospel learning, not just fun stuff). I love that there are a couple hints for each puzzle because that helps you keep things on schedule. If they are taking too long, give a hint. If they are moving too quickly, let them struggle. You could even come up with some discussion questions at the end regarding the lessons learned from the Old Testament hero stories told. There is a lot of out loud reading involved.
