GENUINE ITALIAN ANILINE LEATHER

The Kenna is upholstered in genuine full-grain Italian aniline leather, selected for its softness, natural appearance and distinctive character.

Aniline leather receives minimal surface treatment, allowing the natural grain, markings and tonal variations of the hide to remain visible.

Natural scars, creases, grain patterns and variations in shade are characteristics of genuine leather rather than faults. These details mean that every Kenna rocking chair has its own individual appearance.

With regular use, the leather will naturally soften and develop an attractive patina, adding further depth and character over time.

COMFORT AND SUPPORT

The Kenna features a supportive padded back and firm cushioned seat designed for comfortable everyday use.

Traditional buttoning helps shape the upholstery and adds subtle detail without detracting from the chair’s modern silhouette.

The exposed wooden arms provide a comfortable place to rest your hands, while the curved base creates a smooth and relaxing rocking movement.

DARK WOODEN ROCKING FRAME

The upholstered seat is supported by a strong exposed wooden frame with gently shaped arms and curved rockers.

Leather colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and individual screen settings. Because genuine aniline leather is a natural material, variations in shade, grain and markings will occur between hides.

Please allow for small dimensional tolerances because every chair is individually handmade.

Before ordering, please check that the chair will fit through all doorways, hallways and staircases. Please also allow sufficient floor space behind and in front of the chair for the rocking movement.

Every Kenna rocking chair is made especially for you in our West Midlands workshop.

Our experienced craftspeople prepare the frame, cut and position the leather, shape the padding and complete the upholstery using traditional skills and carefully selected materials.

This is not a mass-produced chair. Small variations are natural and form part of the character of an individually handmade piece of furniture.

The Kenna is delivered fully assembled and ready to use.

LEATHER CARE

Loose dust can be removed with a soft, dry cloth or an upholstery attachment on a low setting.

Small marks should be wiped gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth and dried immediately. Avoid saturating the leather or using household detergents, solvents, furniture polish or abrasive cleaning products.

Keep the chair away from prolonged direct sunlight and strong heat sources, which may cause the leather to fade or dry.

Before applying any specialist leather-care product, test it on a small, hidden area or consult a professional leather upholstery cleaner.

Your rocking chair will be carefully protected for delivery.

Please ensure that the chair’s dimensions are suitable for all doorways, hallways, staircases and turns before ordering.
