The Arc'teryx Beta Insulated Jacket is a masterclass in alpine versatility, engineered for those who need a single, high-performance layer to handle both freezing temperatures and heavy precipitation. This iteration features the cutting-edge 2L Gore-Tex ePE (expanded Polyethylene) membrane, providing a lighter, more sustainable, and fully waterproof/breathable barrier that doesn't compromise on durability. Inside, the jacket is powered by Coreloft™️ Continuous 90 (90 g/m) synthetic insulation. This resilient fill provides consistent thermal warmth even if exposed to moisture, making it superior to down in damp, high-output environments.
The face fabric is a rugged 40d x 70d recycled nylon plain weave (77gsm), finished with an FC0 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to shed water without the use of harmful chemicals.
