Good quality mohair fabric with potential to be nice hedgehog spines. Seller took care to explain material needed further attention to make hedgehog fabric and sent a link to a video which clearly showed what was needed to check I understood before dispatch. Dispatch and delivery information was accurate but from China so slow. Unfortunately by the time the fabric arrived I had forgotten the information in the video and the link no longer worked so I still haven't treated it. hoping to get new link sent.

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the pile amount: our fabric pieces are hand-cut at 25×35cm, and while a slight tolerance is normal, we actually tend to give a bit extra rather than less. The pile may appear thinner before brushing — please note that this fabric requires self-brushing to achieve the intended fluffiness. Steiff factory no longer offers brushing services, and sadly, after 125 years, they will stop taking orders on April 17, 2026, and close permanently on July 31, 2026. We're glad you found the fabric nice and as expected otherwise. Thank you for supporting this historic mill's final chapter.
