Cherokee Mother Child Art | Wood Slice

This is a vintage Cherokee Indian portrait print featuring a mother and daughter mounted on a natural tree trunk slice with bark edges. The artwork depicts a tender moment in soft earth tones, finished with a smooth protective lacquer over the wood. Items like these were popular souvenir pieces from the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina during the late 20th century, celebrating Indigenous heritage through the "wood slice" medium that was a staple of rustic home decor in that era.
