This vintage wall hanging made from wool depicts two stylized horses in a brown field punctuated by Nemeth's characteristic geometric floral motifs and long fringes finish on bottom.

Éva Németh (1930-2019) was an Hungarian textile designer best known for rugs and tapestries. During the 1970s and 80s she won textile design prizes and featured in many solo exhibitions and group shows in Budapest and other European cities. And pattern of this wall hanging tapestry seen here made in 70’s in Hungary for Scandinavian market.

Intended as wall decor, you can choose velcro, rug clip or some way you like. Especially suitable for folk art tapestry collectors and housewarming special gift.
