I made this pattern for a Fourth of July top. The pattern is very minimal so I would not recommend this for a beginner. It does not include any stitch counts - which is great for making it to fit but not helpful if you are a beginner and need those numbers to make sure you aren't off. I also noticed that the pictured design is not the design you get from following the pattern. I did not realize this until I was halfway through. It still turned out super cute but I bought the pattern based off the picture so I was a little disappointed to see they weren't the same. I will remake this design and try to recreate the picture next time. Overall a cute pattern and I got a lot of compliments. Definitely worth it if you have a basic understanding of garment design and construction.

Good pattern! It's a made-to-measure design that doesn't require a gauge swatch, and the construction is very straightforward and easy to follow. I've completed one of the two panels so far and am using Made with Love by Tom Daley (The Cottony One), which is working beautifully. One thing to note is that the sweater produced by the written instructions looks different from the sweater shown in the listing photos. However, if you're an advanced crocheter, it's fairly easy to adjust the row sequence to achieve a look that's more consistent with the sample shown. Overall, I'm really enjoying the project and am excited to finish it.
