Twelve volumes of "World Epochs", in highly-decorated three-quarter black leather-looking cloth.
This was a set of books published in 1936 in a limited/registered edition, with each copy being registered in the name of a resident at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home.

In decent vintage condition. The thin black leather-like cloth is chipping/peeling at joints and corners [see photos], but is bright at gold-decorated spines and front covers.
20" wide, 9" tall, standing together.
