Formed millions of years ago and shaped by hand, this striking pendant carries the quiet beauty of an ancient forest.

The centerpiece is a hand-cut cabochon of petrified wood (aka fossilized wood), showcasing natural bands of warm earth tones — golden tan, rust red, and soft stone gray. The stone was carefully cut and polished to reveal the organic patterns created when ancient wood slowly fossilized into stone.

The pendant setting itself is completely handmade from copper by artisan Erik, giving the piece a rustic, earthy character that perfectly complements the fossilized wood.

A small opening behind the stone allows light to pass through the thinner areas of the petrified wood, revealing a subtle internal glow and natural depth when held to the light — a beautiful reminder that this stone was once living wood.
