Handmade Gambiered Canton Silk Scarf: Antique Magnolias Burgundy 63”x5.5”

Gambiered Canton silk scarf, deep burgundy red floral art. Double-sided fabric measuring 160 cm x 15 cm / 63 in x 5.9 in, Gambiered Canton Gauze, also called "fragrance cloud silk", "soft gold" or "mud silk". It uses pure natural silk as its grey fabrics, and dyed yams from the Canton province as its dyestuff. The dyeing and finishing processes involve multiple steps of traditional manual techniques. This fabric is light and highly breathable, feels comfortable and pleasantly cool, and is easy to wash and care for (with fewer wrinkles). This fabric shines very subtly, giving an impression of low-key luxury. As you continue to wear it, the fabric will gradually soften. PLEASE note that the color in person is more muted than in the picture. This design is also available in 60" x 2.6".
Care: Hand-wash in cold water, lay flat to dry naturally. Low-heat ironing is acceptable. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. It is designed and custom-made by a family silk shop in Hu Zhou, an old silk town in China.
