Antique Art Nouveau Brass Tray of a woman in a bonnet showing off her dress, circa 1920s. The tray depicts a woman in a flowing dress lifting it up as if to say 'look how pretty'. It is a lovely and unique piece reminiscent of the popular Art Nouveau era highlighting the female form as the central motif in art, often emphasizing the female as both seductive and etherial. Although there are no inscriptions on the back, this piece was was sourced earlier this year at the famous Marche Dauphine Flea Market in Paris, France. Beautiful displayed on a stack of books or alone on a side table.
CONDITION
It is in a very good condition for it's age with no damage. There are some signs of age which provide character and charm. It measures 6" wide, 1.5" height and just close to 7" in length.
