Highlights

A Quality plush fur/silk top hat. Made by Lincoln Bennett & Co Hatters, Piccadilly London.
With a band stitched in place and upturned brim with black edging, the leather lining band is hand stitched in place, stamped By Appointment to H.M the King. A cream leather band and the cream satin silk lining, with only traces of wear.
In great condition considering it’s just over 100 year life! C1920
Comes complete with the original box and brown paper packaging.

Lincoln Bennett & Co were the company was a leading maker of gentleman’s headwear in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The firm was sold off in the aftermath of WWII at a time when wearing hats were diminishing as a societal convention, and hats were no longer produced in the brand’s name after the 1980s. Lincoln Bennett & Co’s hats were of such quality that the firm became a royal supplier.
