Are your mockups real photographs or AI-generated?

Every listing at Trendsetter Mockups® is a real photograph of a real model. We take great pride in our authentic photography process to ensure you get true-to-color accuracy and authentic fabric grain is shown in the mockup. We believe that if you are selling a product that is to be worn by a human, your product should be modeled by a human. For that reason, you will never find AI in our shop.

What size shirts are your models wearing?

Our female models are 5’5” and typically wear a small or medium in womens. Our male model is 5'8" and typically wears a medium or large in mens. What size are the image files?

We adhere to Etsy's recommended image specifications to ensure the highest quality presentation of our mockups. Our web optimized images are sized at 2700 x 2025px and are web optimized so they upload quickly and appear crispy clear on all devices. This practice aligns with Etsy's guidelines to optimize listings for both performance and visual appeal.

Can you add more diverse models to your shop?

We would love to expand our mockup collection to include more diverse models, and hope to do so one day. Until then, we strongly believe in supporting POC-owned businesses. When you shop from POC-owned mockup shops for diverse mockups, you are directly contributing to their success.

Licensing Terms and Agreement

Usage: Mockups are for personal and commercial use. Vendors: Transfer vendors/wholesalers may use mockups with a design and watermark. Blank images cannot be shared. AI Alterations: Altering images with AI (e.g., garment color, skin tone, facial features) or using mockups as AI references to recreate copies is prohibited. Reselling/Sharing: Mockups cannot be resold or redistributed. Blank Mockups: Posting blank mockups online is not allowed. Designs or watermarks must be included.

Are hex codes accurate to the actual shirt color?

The colors shown in our charts are based on manufacturer-provided hex codes, which are flat, digital representations designed for screens. While they provide a close approximation, they don’t capture the depth, texture, or dye variations of real fabric - all of which can affect how the actual shirt color appears in person. Actual garment colors may differ slightly due to: - The pigment-dyeing process - Fabric texture, which can affect how color appears in person - Screen settings like brightness, contrast, or device type (colors on shopper screens will vary) - Lighting conditions Color variation is expected across all brands, including Comfort Colors, Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, etc.

Is a specific software needed to edit the mockup images?

You can use your preferred editing app or program to edit the mockup images, like Canva or Photoshop. Our mockups are flattened to make them more user-friendly, so any editing app or software that you can place your design on the mockup can be used.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. Since digital files cannot be "returned," we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once the purchase is complete. If for some reason a digital product is refunded after purchase, the license agreement is immediately void. You may no longer use the digital product (or template) in any form. This protects our intellectual property. If you experience any technical issues with your file, please reach out and we will be happy to assist you!
