Before ordering this box, I contacted the seller and was very specific in what I needed. I asked for the darkest stained box (like in the middle of the advertisement.) He responded and told me he would do his best to pick a dark box. He did not say they were not stained etc.. Well to my surprise I received a light unfinished pine box with a dark D on top of the lid. I can't even stain the color needed because then the engraving wouldn't show. I am beyond disappointed. And the 12×12 box, no latches, it has a slide lid! I missed that detail. I thought it was just showing the size. In order to get refunded I have to send back this useless box, waste my time, money and effort to get my "money back!" Shipping would probably cost as much as I paid for this unfinished, unusable box. The seller and the advertising was/is misleading.
