Highlights
Bring a little sunshine indoors with this handcrafted Kinusaiga sunflower artwork featuring cheerful bee and honeycomb fabrics. Carefully created by hand and beautifully framed, this unique piece adds warmth, color and charm to any room.
THIS PIECE FEATURES:
◾️ An 8" x 8" handcrafted artwork mounted in a 9" x 9" shadow box frame
◾️ Hand-cut design made from a variety of fabrics including cotton textiles
◾️ Ready-to-display framed artwork
Kinusaiga is a Japanese art form that creates intricate images by tucking fabric into carved grooves rather than sewing or painting. Sometimes called a fabric mosaic, the technique produces a softly padded, dimensional surface that can resemble stained glass made from cloth.
I especially love this process because it lets me repurpose fabric scraps into something beautiful — making each piece both artistic and eco-friendly.
HOW IT’S MADE:
◾️ I design the image with bold outlines and mount it to foam board
◾️ Grooves are cut along the design lines
◾️ Fabric pieces are carefully cut and tucked into the grooves
◾️ The finished artwork is mounted in a shadow box frame, ready to display
Because each piece is handmade to order, the artwork you receive will not be the exact item shown in the photos. However, it will be created using the same design, fabric color palette and overall style. Small variations are part of what makes each piece uniquely yours.
💛 A little joy, made by hand.
🎨 Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and lighting conditions.
📍Please allow 1–2 weeks for creation before shipment. I often finish orders sooner, but this timeframe ensures I can give each piece the attention it deserves.

It is very pretty and great size.
