Vintage 60s M suit 3 piece skirt top jacket set classic home sewn modest bust 39"/ waist 30"

Classic mid century mod 3 piece suit set consisting of a shell top, jacket and skirt. Fiber content unknown, I'm guessing both the solid and embroidered fabrics are a rayon cotton blend. The embroidery is done in metallic gold and pink. The jacket can snap to the shell top at the front top. Center back metal zipper closure for the skirt. Home sewn and very nicely done. I estimate it to be from the 1960s.

Measurements: I would estimate it to fit like a size Medium in today's sizing. For reference, photographed on a mannequin with bust 33.5/ waist 24 hips 35 and the suit was too large on it so the waist of the skirt was clipped at the waist for the photos. It measures as follows, compare with your own measurements and allow for ease. Measurements taken while flat and doubled when applicable:
Top:
Bust: 40"
Shoulder to hem: 18"
Shoulder to shoulder: 16"
Jacket:
Bust: 39"
Shoulder to hem: 20"
Sleeve: 17.5"
Shoulder to shoulder: 16"
Skirt:
Waist: 30"
Hips: 41" Note: your hips should measure no more than 39" so you can sit
Waist to hem: 26.25" with a 3" hem including the hem facing

Condition: Overall excellent vintage condition with the exception of the sleeve buttons having darkened a bit. I have hand washed and air dried the set so it is clean and wearable.
