Our soft and premium 1/8" green gingham fabric by the yard features a smooth poplin weave that offers a lighter, softer drape compared to traditional textured gingham. This non-stretch, thin, 60-inch-wide cotton blend (65% polyester, 35% cotton) is finely woven for a gentle, fluid feel that falls naturally instead of holding a stiff shape, making it especially ideal for garments.
Lightweight and breathable, this poly-cotton gingham is comfortable against the skin while still durable and wrinkle-resistant. The smoother surface also helps reduce bulk at seams, making it easier to gather, ruffle, and sew cleanly. Perfect for apparel such as farmhouse dresses, bows, shirts, skirts, and children’s clothing, pajamas, where a softer silhouette and movement matter.
Also suitable for lightweight quilting and patchwork; softer drape than traditional quilting cotton.
