Highlights
There is something deeply comforting in simple, honest kitchen pieces — the kind you reach for every day without thinking.
This handmade terracotta dish with lid is one of those pieces.
Warm, natural, quietly beautiful — it keeps butter, cheese, or baked goods protected while adding a rustic, artisan touch to your table.
Crafted on the potter’s wheel from red clay and finished with traditional milk firing, it has a soft, earthy surface — completely natural, without glaze or toxins.
WHY IT WORKS
• Breathable clay helps maintain a balanced environment
• Keeps butter soft and ready to use
• Protects food from drying out
• Natural, lead-free, glaze-free material
• Handmade — each piece carries slight variations
SIZE & DETAILS
• Plate diameter: 21 cm (8.3 in)
• Lid diameter: 18 cm (7.1 in)
• Total height: 9 cm (3.5 in)
• Weight: 850 g (1.87 lb)
MATERIAL & PROCESS
• Handmade on a potter’s wheel
• Natural red clay
• Traditional milk-fired finish (no glaze)
• Food-safe, non-toxic
This traditional technique gently seals the surface while keeping the clay breathable — a method used for centuries.
HOW TO USE
Perfect for:
• Butter (room temperature serving)
• Cheese or pastries
• Covering food on the table
• Everyday kitchen styling
GIFT IDEA
A thoughtful and practical new home gift — especially for someone who loves cooking, slow living, and natural materials.
