Three sizes, one language: the clean, unadorned form of the apothecary jar.
These matched pairs come from a world of marble counters, glass cabinets, and the particular quiet of old pharmacies. Each pair is glazed in white or warm off-white, cylindrical in form, with the honest irregularities of handmade ceramic production — glaze that pools slightly at the base, surfaces that have absorbed a little of the time they've lived through.
The small pair (h. 5 cm) is the most intimate — objects you hold in your palm. One bears a stamped 15 on the base, the only mark left by whoever made them. The medium pair (h. 6 cm) is glazed in a warmer butter tone, slightly uneven in the way hand-dipped ceramics always are. The large pair (h. 13 cm) comes with their original lids, knob handles intact — the most architectural of the three, with the quiet authority of objects that once lined a professional shelf.
