I've always liked the cartoony took of the borderlands weapons so I decided to make this Nerf style gun look like something straight out of the game.

The effect has been achieved over several hours using sharpies.
The item has then been lacquered to seel in the cartoony look and to give it a lovely shine.

The nerf gun is non functional, its purely for cosplay or display purposes only.
