Seller's description

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD (NO PHYSICAL ITEM)

ARTWORK:
A quiet animal study depicting the hare—rendered with a softened precision that recalls antique natural history plates. Set within an oval field, the portrait adopts the language of classical specimen presentation, where space and proportion are carefully measured. The surrounding botanical pattern—delicate, repetitive, and time-worn—introduces a decorative rhythm, reminiscent of antique textiles or hand-printed wallpapers preserved through decades. The palette remains subdued: faded umber, soft sage, and warm parchment hues, all carrying the quiet patina of archival paper. Balanced between observation and ornament, the composition evokes the atmosphere of a countryside study—where wildlife, collected objects, and botanical forms coexist in calm, deliberate harmony.
