The 3-Piece Precision Kit Includes:

GP045 Profile Rib: The profile for achieving that signature, repeatable mug silhouette.
The Lid Cutter: A specialized semi-circle cutter designed to create a perfectly sized lid.
The Mouth-Hole Cutter: A small, precision tool to punch the drinking vent in your desired location.

How to Create Your Travel Mug:
Throw the Form: Centre your clay and throw the mug body. Use the GP045 Rib at the 3 o'clock position to shape the exterior until it matches the profile perfectly. Ensure the top rim reaches a 90mm outer diameter for a perfect lid fit.

Prepare the Lid: Roll out a slab of clay to 4–5mm thickness. Use the Lid Cutter to stamp out your semi-circle lid shape.

Punch the Vent: While the lid is still flat, use the Mouth-Hole Cutter to create the drinking hole in your preferred spot.

Assemble: Apply slip to the top inner rim of your mug and the edges of the lid. Press the lid into place, blending the join carefully to create a seamless, integrated travel mug.

Note: The Lid Cutter is specifically calibrated for a 90mm outer diameter clay form.
