As a working potter, I experienced the daily frustrations of standard wire tools: metal rings that dig into your fingers, wires that kink, and frayed ends that can literally poke and injure your hands. Worst of all, when a wire snaps, the whole tool usually ends up in the trash. Since a clay wire is the most essential tool in any studio, I knew it needed a complete redesign.

Most traditional wire tools use simple rings or finger loops. Our tool is designed for a full, firm grip, giving you a much more comfortable and powerful cut. This Mini version was specifically created for potters who find standard handles a bit too large, offering a perfectly compact fit that rests naturally in your hands.

✨ Ingenious "No-Tool" Replacement System
I wanted a system where you could replace a snapped wire without needing extra hardware—just a simple knot. That’s how our two-part screw mechanism was born.

How it works: Simply pass the wire through the hole, tie a knot to secure it, and twist the screw cap to lock the two parts into one solid, sturdy handle. It provides perfect tension with zero hassle.

Optimized Engineering: We calculated the exact hole size for smooth wire passing and secure holding, combined with a highly durable screw thread design.

Drop-Resistant Material: Crafted using premium, high-strength 3D Resin printing to withstand the daily drops and bumps of a busy studio.

Hidden Logo: The 'Hongtools' logo is subtly engraved on the inside of the tool, ensuring the exterior remains perfectly smooth and never interferes with your grip.

Hand-Finished: Every single resin component is manually sanded and assembled by hand in our South Korean studio.
