Long before tarot took form in Renaissance Italy, an illuminated manuscript emerged in France around 1430 — filled with haunting figures, raw human emotion, and visions of the sacred woven into everyday life. Known today as The Grand Hours of Rohan, this remarkable Book of Hours carries imagery that feels uncannily aligned with the archetypes we now recognize in tarot.
This deck is not a reconstruction of a historical tarot — it is a rediscovery. A meeting point between medieval mysticism and the timeless language of tarot, offering a glimpse into what tarot might have looked like had it emerged from the illuminated manuscripts of Northern Europe.
A lost visual lineage. A tarot waiting six centuries to be born.

What buyers say, summarized by AI: Looks great Love it Fast shipping
This is one phenomenal piece of art, to say the least. The solid, beautifully designed magnetic closing flap on the box, in addition to the color scheme and golden highlights. The book is hardcover with a velvety smooth cover, gold lettering, tight binding, high-quality paper on the pages, and the warm colors of the pictures in addition to the information of each page. I must also add that the pages are guilded in gold. The cards themselves are outstanding, with gold gilding as well and strong, long-lasting card stock. I knew that purchasing yet another deck from Libramoon was going to be a treat. The last thing I will comment on is the prompt customer service response and the very quick shipping. I had my deck in 3 days from ordering. I definitely recommend Libramoon and their decks.
Item as described, great seller.
This deck arrived on time and no problems with shipping. Love the cards which are very well crafted and easy to shuffle. Love the images and live the guide book that shows the other images that were part of the over all pictures.. love it!
The deck is truly unique and gorgeous. I am very happy with my purchase.
