This is the first in a series of 20 pieces that comprise the complete telling of The Sermon on the Mount from Jesus Christ as told by the Gospel of Matthew Chapters 5, 6, and 7 (Matthew 5:1-7:29) in the New Testament of the Bible. The originals are 4'x5' and took over four years to complete. All lettering was done by hand the way the old masters used to do it. Richard's colors are vibrant and his characteristic style is present in every illustration.

The first two pieces in this series comprise the BEATITUDES, eight blessings outlining the qualities and rewards for the children of God who will gain entry into Heaven.
