Custom and personalised orders

I'm always happy to consider customised orders which includes bulk orders and combining postage. Just click the button in the shop or message me. It's no problem to change your mind but please let me know as it takes considerable time to put together personalised orders. I will only hold books in reserve for 48 hours. If you would like a personalised message to accompany your purchase please let me know.

Gift wrapping and packaging

This is always available and it's helpful to know if an item is a gift. Please let me know any special requests when buying.

All of the items in the shop are vintage or antiquarian so will show signs of age and sometimes use. I include plenty of photos and a full description so ask that buyers check this carefully and contact me before buying if they have any queries.

Your book will be wrapped in bubble wrap and corrugated card before being placed in a large jiffy bag. If you order two books they may come separately. Large orders are packed in a homemade recycled card box. It may not look pretty but it will protect your book.

Delivery and how long will my order take.

I am only able to ship to: UK EU USA Canada I am not responsible for delays at customs or import taxes. UK orders are usually free p+p and sent within 3: working days. Generally sooner. I use Royal Mail 2nd class which aims for 3 working days. If you want it faster or a guaranteed date please use the express option. If you would prefer a different carrier please contact me before buying. All orders will receive tracking information. Overseas orders are sent using Royal Mail ParcelForce. You will receive full tracking information and I am always available if you have any queries.

What if I'm not happy?

Contact me! Most issues can be resolved before hand by checking the listing carefully and being sure that you are happy with the item and condition before buying. Old books don't look like new books and occasionally couriers lose something so sometimes things do unfortunately not work out. I will generally issue a no quibble refund. My terms are that buyers pay return postage, however if the fault is mine I will send a return shipping pack. If you are unhappy please give me the chance to resolve the issue before leaving a poor review.
