PATTERN DETAILS

The Meadow Sweater is worked from the bottom up and knitted flat in four separate pieces:

Two sleeves

The front and back are worked straight to the shoulders without traditional armhole shaping. Removable markers indicate the sleeve placement, creating the relaxed drop-shoulder construction.

The sleeves are knitted from the cuff upward, gradually increased to create a comfortable tapered shape and finished with a straight sleeve top.

After blocking, the shoulder seams are joined, the sleeves are carefully centered along the shoulder seams and sewn into place, and the neckline is finished with a picked-up 1x1 ribbed crew neckband.
