Although this pattern is lovely and easy to understand and follow if you’ve crocheted before the stitching doesn’t look the same as the picture which is disappointing.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. The stitch texture in the photo is specific to Tessiland Skinny 1.5 mm polyester rope cord. Its braided structure is what creates those chunky, defined ridges. A different yarn or cord will produce a different look even with identical stitches, which can catch people by surprise.
