Highlights
This "Belle Bohémienne" jean skirt is one of my line of Renaissance Denim Couture, the name I chose for my line of couture because I take vintage denim and give it new life with French bohemian flair.
To make this Renaissance Denim couture, I took a pair of size 32 waist authentic vintage Seven for All Mankind jeans and formed a yoke at the top.
Then, I upcycled an asymmetrical ruffled ivory lace Free People skirt (fully lined with soft silky cotton) with dangled ruffles of ivory French lace with embroidered roses, and added lots of vintage French cream colored lace!
The exquisite Free People lace skirt has delicate dotted Swiss tulle in an intricate pattern of asymmetrical dangles and godet inserts. I added tons of antique French lace to really complement the original flow of the gorgeous skirt.
The result is a "Belle Bohémienne" ballroom jean skirt--a couture creation that is feminine, funky, romantic, and very French chic.
Perfect for a bohemian beach wedding or a summer festival!
The waist measures 34", the hips are 40", and the length is a dramatic 42".
