Turn your story into custom, hand-embroidered textile artwork. Work one-on-one with The Studio HM to design a hand-embroidered, custom design complete with a unique vintage fabric. Designs are developed collaboratively from your inspiration. There is no limit to what we can imagine together!

These signs are perfect for weddings, baby showers, graduations, birthdays, and more. This custom vintage fabric sign will be an heirloom to frame and cherish long after your event. I have turned mine into curtains for my home 🙂

Your order includes:
One hand-embroidered sign designed custom for you by The Studio HM. The sign is crafted from vintage or repurposed fabrics and includes custom font and designs in any color.

The Process:
1. Choose your size: medium, or large.
2. Browse our current Fabric Book for your size before ordering. Trim options are shown at the end of the Fabric Book.

2. Choose your size, optional trim border, and hanging finish.
3. Share your exact wording, fabric choice, colors, event date, and inspiration or ideas for the custom design.
4. After the order is placed, I will schedule a 15-minute Zoom or phone call with you to go over the custom design inspiration. After the call, you will receive a digital design proof. Make unlimited changes to the design until you love it! Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges.
5. After approval, the design is embroidered by hand by me!
6. Receive a photo of the completed sign before shipping.
7. Unbox your sign & get excited to celebrate!

Materials and Finishing:
All signs are made from secondhand or vintage textiles. Your sign will not have any stains or tears. Optional trim or ribbon can be added to some fabrics, but has an additional charge.

Timing:
I only accept orders for events that are at least 6 weeks out so that I can make sure the sign is ready and arrives to you by your celebration day.

Design and Inspiration:
I welcome inspiration photos, but I will not copy another artist’s design exactly. I also do not use AI in the design or production of any designs. The Studio HM retains ownership of its original artwork; buyers receive the finished physical item, not commercial reproduction rights. Listing images show previous commissions; your custom piece will be individually made. Past commissions may inspire future original work.
