This listing is for a black hard cover book that has a copyright of 1946 titled The Droll Stories of Honore' De Balzac. Book is full of short stories by Balzac set in the Middle Ages. Stories are a bit raunchy and fun. This is Balzac’s attempt to write in the great tradition of Rabelais and Boccaccio. Book has 30 short stories and 372 pages. Cover is black and spine has silver writing and design.

Condition: Good used condition. Spine is tight, book is readable. Pages are a little darkened from age. There is a stain on the first few pages. Inside has some black and white illustrations. Most partial pages and a couple full pages. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. Items sold as is.

Dimensions: 7 7/8" X 5 1/2" X 1". Measurements are close approximates.
