All items in my shop are vintage and therefore one-of-a-kind, so please consult each individual listing for size and measurements. All measurements are measured in inches and taken flat - just, double where necessary. If uncertain about sizing, you can always look to your own closet to compare measurements for fit or send me a message if you have questions about any of the garments you see in the shop.

Vintage items can range from dead-stock, never worn, and in pristine condition to well-loved and well-worn and showing some signs of wear. Please consult each listing for item details - I always aim to share any major flaws or imperfections so that you can make an informed purchase. Keep in mind, vintage items can have minor flaws and wear consistent with the age of a garment. If you need any additional information about the condition of a garment or how to wash/care for one of my items, please reach out prior to purchase.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I wrap each order with care, in brown paper with a bit of twine, but if you require additional customized wrapping or packaging, contact me prior to purchase and I will do my best to accommodate.

Do you have a store-front or offer delivery or local pick-up?

I no longer have a store front and ship from my home studio in Ontario. I know shipping can be expensive and I am happy to provide bulk shipping rates for orders of 5 or more items, and free domestic shipping for orders of $200 or more. I am also able to accommodate for local pick-up or arrange for local delivery where possible. Just message me prior to purchase to make arrangements.

Do you allow for cancellations, returns and exchanges?

I do accept cancellations on all orders within in 12 hours of purchase. Should you change your mind or need to adjust your order, please contact me promptly. I do not accept returns/exchanges, once your order has shipped, so please review each listing carefully for fit, measurements and item details to ensure that you are making an informed purchase.

Returns/Exchange Policy : Right to return items (Right of withdrawal) for EU/UK buyers.

Under the EU and UK’s distance selling laws, buyers have the right to return certain products for any reason by contacting me (the seller) within 14 days. This 14-day period will start at the moment a customer receives their order from our shop, rather than at the time he or she purchases it. Within that time frame. I will accept return of items purchased in my shop for refund minus shipping charges. Returned items must arrive in the same condition as when purchased. Buyers are responsible for return shipping charges.

CUSTOMS & RETURNED/DECLINED/ABANDONED PACKAGES

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. clotheslinesvintgageshop is not responsible for lost or stolen orders or delays. We will not mark any packages as a gift or refund the customs fees collected by your country. We encourage all customers to make themselves familiar with their country's import policies. If a package has been returned to us due to customer negligence: providing us with the wrong shipping address, abandoning/refusing your package at customs etc. you will have the option to resend the package at your expense or be issued a shop credit, minus any/all shipping fees we have incurred sending/obtaining your order. A shop credit, will only be issued once we have received the return package.
