Highlights
This item is a vintage ceramic water pitcher branded for Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch Whisky. These pitchers were historically used on bar counters in pubs to serve water for mixing with whisky. It is made of black glazed ceramic with gold gilt lettering featuring the Johnnie Walker "walking man" logo. Many of these jugs were produced by potteries such as Seton Pottery or Wade during the 1960s and 1970s. This jug is unmarked. The jug has been used and there are signs of this with a small area of damage to the handle where a small slither of the glaze has come away and there is also a small chip to the corner of the handle but this has been repaired. There is also a small area of wear to the edge of the gold label. These areas have been highlighted by red circles in the photos. Item measures approx 17cm x 16cm x 9cm.
