Vintage Chinese Yixing Clay Storage Vessel Tea Caddy w Incised Calligraphy

Crafted from Yixing clay, this vintage tea caddy features intricate incised calligraphy and a functional brass handle. An elegant storage solution for loose tea or herbs. This caddy is not an antique but it does have some wear to it. I believe my mom got this sometime in the 70s or 80s. Nice calligraphy on the lid and all around the sides. It is marked on the reverse but I have no idea what it says. There is some wear to it including a tiny chip on the rim of the lid. Appears to be made out of red clay. The handle is brass. Please view all the photos. Measures with the lid on about 3.75" high by about 4" wide.
